Drive for Excellence Elevates Lili Alessandra to New Heights
Legendary French designer Coco Chanel famously said, “Fashion changes, but style endures.” And from the very start of our company, we at Lili Alessandra have taken these words to heart. We have built a brand rich in classic, timeless and elegant design. We are delighted that our dedication to sophisticated Old World charm has found relevance in modern, everyday living. As the weather turns cooler and we get ready for the final quarter of 2015, we are deeply honored to be celebrating our second consecutive ARTS nomination as home textiles manufacturer of the year. But our good fortune doesn’t end there; I have the added distinction of being personally recognized as one of the five leading product designers for 2015!
Being in the company of industry luminaries such as Ashley Childers of Emporium Home, Dann Foley of Dann Foley Lifestyle, Jason Phillips of Phillips Collection and Ron McIntyre of Square Feathers is an accolade I never could have imagined when I launched the company seven years ago. Each of these special visionaries embraces a “no rules, no boundaries” approach to design, and every market season offers fresh, creative collections that elevate their brands to the next level.
This is what Lili Alessandra was fortunate to have achieved in 2015. Some of our exciting new trends focused on innovative fabrics combinations as seen in our Mozart collection made of earth sheer linen with champagne embroidery, as well as the introduction of some new looks for us, like the Marrakech white on white bedding collections which is paired with accent pillows and throw that is hand crafted in a bold soutache embroidery. We are very fortunate to have such talented craftsmen translate our love and passion for detail in their artistry. It is very rewarding when our customers appreciate the handcrafted detail in our product and share their excitement when designing their home with Lili Alessandra.
In reflecting on this special time for Lili Alessandra, I would be remiss if I did not make mention of the other outstanding finalists in home textiles - Ryan Studio, Bella Notte Linens, Coral & Tusk and Pom Pom at Home. Collectively, these innovative companies have achieved uniqueness and beauty, and offer the category great momentum moving ahead in 2016.
And now a special thank you to Craig Aple, who has been with me since the very beginning. We continue to evolve and grow together in this beautiful partnership we have created, with tremendous support from our entire team, our dedicated customers and our growing legion of Lili Alessandra devotees. Their enthusiasm drives me to continue on this phenomenal journey!
